Woman sues Steelers’ Santonio Holmes for alleged assault
Steelers WR Santonio Holmes has been sued in civil court by a girl who alleged he threw a glass complete of liquor at her earlier this month.
Court House News reported the match, by which Anshonoe Mills alleged that Holmes ordered her to “get up” off a couch inside of the VIP section from the Rain Night Club in Orlando on March 7. The fit alleged that Holmes and Mills tussled above placement for the couch, with Holmes claiming he had been there previous to her.
In the match, Mills alleged that Holmes threw a glass filled with liquor into her encounter that cut her.
The suit also alleged that Holmes and members of the Orlando police department pressured Mills to not press costs due to his standing as an NFL player. Holmes, the MVP of Super Bowl XLIII, offered funds to Mills, the match mentioned.
There may be been no comment from Holmes however. Mills’ attorney, Jacques Cooper, told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, “We’re not actually making comments in-depth about the subject at this time. We are nevertheless seeking in to the matter and are waiting to hear from Mr. Holmes’ individuals.”
The accusation against Holmes may be the second alleged incident for the Steelers this month. QB Ben Roethlisberger is skipping the begin with the team’s offseason workout plan nowadays as he is investigated for allegedly committing a sexual attack in Georgia on March 5.
Roethlisberger has not been charged and has denied the allegation via his attorney, Ed Garland.
