World Cup 2010 : Carlos Bocanegra got outplayed by Steven Gerrard
Carlos Bocanegra, the American captain, got outplayed by the English captain, Steven Gerrard. Bocanegra, 31, handled most inbound and corner kicks. Bocanegra is not a vocal captain. The American team plays greatest with emotion and when your captain does not show any, it could be tough on the team.
Even though the captain just isn’t identified as a loquacious person, the American team can feed off from their other key players. Tim Howard barked out orders to his teammates as they were able to tie up with England within the 40th minute by Clint Dempsey’s shot on goal. Another player that most look up to is Landon Donovan. Donovan was outstanding with numerous chances on goals. His ball skill was exceptional and was 1 with the keys to the game.
