World’s Biggest Beaver Dam visible from Space
I’ll forgo the temptation to joke about busy beavers but the news wires are already buzzing with word of the finding with the world’s biggest beaver dam, a a couple of 2,790 foot lengthy piece of handicraft somewhere in the forests of Northern Alberta’s Wood Buffalo National Park.
The researcher credited with producing the discovery, Jean Thie, stated he found the dam making use of satellite imagery as well as the Google Earth application. But that was back in 2008 So why is everyone making a fuss more than the story just now?

The amazing woodland construction is really a staggering 2,790 feet in length — a lot more than half a mile lengthy.
