The New York Yankees acquired very first baseman Lance Berkman through the Houston Astros, and will play him at DH.

Berkman, who had 10 and 5 rights, approved the package following earlier informing the Astros he would not accept a offer for the Chicago White Sox.

Berkman includes a $15 million alternative in 2011, but would approve a package only on the condition that it would not be picked up, based on MLB.com.

Are Adam Dunn would follow Berkman join Yankees?
